on my mail route - a customer has two[2] JD model 214s for sale -- he is asking 1100$ for the pair of them -- kohler?[ 14 hp?} what are they really worth? they both su[posedly run well-- bigl22

Two Deere 214 tractors with mower decks, in decent condition (a little rust, a couple of dents, seats cracked a little, but the hoods in one piece), that run well, would be worth $1100. If either has a rear sleeve hitch, add $150, if either has the optional hydraulic lift, add at least $250, if either has the old style solid cast iron wheel weights, add $70 per weight. And of course any other attachments, like a front blade, snowblower, tiller, etc, would really sweeten the deal!! If the tractors are in better than average worn condition, where the lights work, no dents, minimal rust, real nice tires, no cracks at all in the fiberglass hoods, steering tight, mower decks in very good condition, I have seen them go for $750-900 or more for one on ebay.
