heres the results of mondays auction i sat at all day and then some didn't get home till 11 pm and it was only 20 miles from home
cockshutt 40 with fel engine stuck body rough $550
mm m5 with fel running $900
mm u lpg engine stuck wrong tank on it and missing peices $650
farmall md running poor condition $1650
mh 30 std loose not running nice tinwork $2400
mh 55 gas engine stuck nice tinwork $1250
mh 101 row crop engine stuck rough $550
mh 555 gas engine loose not running nice original $2100
case 600 engine stuck block cracked overall rough $400
case dc4 running 3 pth $1600
case d engine stuck $550
allis wd loose not running rough $1200
allis wd 45 engine stuck rough $500

allis d 21 running nice shape $15,000 (still can't beleive that)
rumely m engine seized but complete had to be cut out of the trees $17,500

Really nice 555 you got there! Looks like it was stored inside most of it's life, and the sheet metal all looks pretty straight. It's nic eto find them like that, instead of the one you mentioned that had to have a tree cut out of the middle of it. I see a lot that are anchored by trees in my area, the iron and steel slowly returning to the soil as rust.

joe. around here there are also several oldies that are slowly rotting away and of coarse the owners will not part with them! i keep hearing "im going to start restoring it someday" while they own them and its theres to do with what they want it saddens me thinking that timeless classics are being reduced to nothing while all i can do is watch! bernie.

Nice find bear looks good. bernie what you do is wait untill they are gone go to the house and tell the wife you'll give some money for that old tractor but you need to take it now because your from out of town. And if she says ok give her the money load it up and get out quick ROF

the trucks a 57 dodge 400 we built the deck for it made it that long for easy loading rigged up an old 10 ton hand winch with a hydraulic motor and plumbed into the hoist works slick

its a 2 ton seems to end up getting overloaded a lot its what we use to haul everything home with
