I have been wondering about a front end loader for my Mahindra 485DI. Where does it get the hydrolic power to operate from? I have seen some tractors that have 'quick connects' at the rear, but mine doesnt. So I am confused as to where the power comes from.. I know that there are those who know this as a simple fact, but I am not one of those, so I would appreciate a little info in this matter.. :thanku: TIA Old Pop.

There is generally a manifold accessory for hooking up the hydraulic hoses for a position valve set that will bolt in after a plate is removed from the hydraulic area of the tractor, generally near the seat area but that varies by model and age. I added a complete MF232 loader to my MF231 without remotes about 10 years ago, it was very simple to install, about 2 hours with no experience including bolting up the loader frame and all connections.

If you find a loader manufacturer building a loader to fit the 485 they will have all of the fittings and directions to install the hydraulics. They most likely will attach to the hydraulic pressure line out of the pump and attach the loader power beyond to feed the 3PH. Good luck!
