I have found an Allis WC ser #17509, I think,(not sure about the "5") Can anyone tell me what year it is, or if that ser# sounds right

Thanx for the replies, no I don't have any pix. It is a styled tractor, solid rear wheels/big nut in the centre. It has the two clutch set up with the second one completly in the open just infront of the rearend. I'm not much of an Allis guy but I've never seen one of these.

that second clutch is just a collar that slided on splines sort of a live pto i think it was supposed to be i should have one apart out back remind me to post a pic of it if i don't get it on in the next couple days

if your tractors styled its not a 1936 it would be unstyled no sheet metal round the radiator n round fenders thy were built 1933 to mid 1938 the styleds came out in last half 1938 til 1948 recheck yer serial number if your tractors styled you missed a number :Orange_tr
