Just got this MF35 in for parts. It's an FE35 (British built) with the 4 cylinder standard diesel engine. It's got s bad injector pump, but their should be lots of other good engine parts.

Pretty good tin too.

Bad injector pump or bad timing chain??
If it won't start worth a damn, and blows whitish smoke look to the timing chain first. FE-35's are notoriously bad for failures in this department cuz they used the same timing chain spec for the diesel as they did for the Vanguard petrol engine.
The other FE-35 trick worth knowing is to find a head off an Allis ED-40 and copy the extra heater plug ports (ED-40 = 4 plugs, FE-35 = 1).
Back in '57 Dad had a service van that was the Standard motors test bed for the 4 plug 23C engine (the van was well secondhand when he got it).
Cheers, Loopy.

Me too, adds a real touch of class I think! :D

Loopy, it's injector pump for sure,, it isn't putting any fuel to the injector lines. It doesn't really matter though, we just bought it to part out. That's what we do,, check out the link in the bottom of my posts. ;)
