This little tractor suprised me it all there and I was able to start it with some starter fuild. It has everything and nothing is lock up or broken.
All it needs is new tires and carburator and gas tank cleaned.

Thats unreal , I would like to see them . I wish I had a dozer blade for mine.
If it`s still around this winter I could push some snow for fun with it .
Wing , do you think he would sell a blade.?

Silly question maybe. How do you steer it?

With the stick...It's called tiller stearing...
Stumbled across this thread and decided to add my $0.02 worth.
I own a 1947-or-48 Gibson which I bought last fall. It sat outside for at least two years and, true to Wisconsin form, I had no problems starting it up. However, I did realize, after it got good and cold in my garage, the transmission was full of water. It leaks down around the shifter when it rains. Dang thing froze up! Didn't crack anything. I pulled the plug and put a pan underneath and waited for a warmer day. Everything melted out. I refilled it and have changed the grease once and will again until the stuff stays clean.
I had to rebuild the clutch shaft carrier as the "tail" was broken and badly welded in three places. I have done some rather tense dirt work and have had no problems.
They're quite the tractor! I do believe a few of the MTF guys own Gibsons. Hope bringing this thread back to the top will bring them out of the woodwork so we can talk Gibson! :fing32:

Not at a show, just a parade in our hick town.We have one every July.
About the avatar I just wish it were mine, but it is real close to my heart. There is a story is a little long but would tell the tail if you really want.
Oh and the top to a turkey baster cut in half with a hole will stop the water.

Oldron there is a website called Kingofobsolete.com and he has a tractor similar to your avatar. They have tracks and skis because they are in Manitoba.Maybe you've seen the site.If not you would find it interesting if you like that kind of thing.I think he called them Linn Tractors.
