Someone talk me out of getting this thing...
I dont need another one.
Picked up 3 mowerd for repair today, and one of them was an old Snapper Rider. 2 Pedal, with Hi-Vac Deck.
2 Year old Tecumseh Enduro OHV engine, looks and runs like NEW.
Guy said he really didnt want it anymore, and he paid 500 for it 3 years ago.
He said to make an offer, that he isnt expecting to get much out of it. :00000060:
So all it really needs is the starter/lill switch re-wired. Somebody chopped it to heck.
1 push button swich, some Wires, on/off switch, some wires...done.
or
1 key switch, some more wires. Done.
I need mower therapy... ROF

Sit quietly in the corner with me, brutha---now think--
I don't need another mower, B U T---I don't want it to go bad! :omg:
Now with some real soul-searching, and a little self-arguement, and a pinch of doubt/regret thrown in for good measure..... :hide: OOPS!!..Look what followed me home.....
Seriously, can u fix it up, maybe turn it around for a little "walking-around change"?? (The best kind)
And to the afore-mentioned poster here--OUR list will never be complete! :tsk:

See, That is my problem...I have a bad bad habit of buying to resell, and never selling.
I do already have a Snapper..2 infact.
1. is a 1976 S/P push mower. Original engine and bagger, with original defelcter chute too. Runs and works fine.
2. Snapper Rear Engine Rider - 8hp Briggs L-Head. Not Hi-Vac.
Runs, works great, has Hi-Vac blade, and lifters, new trans.
Ive got 75 bucks between them, and another 75 in parts in the Rider.
Im thinking of offering 200 for this rider. Its fair. It doesnt look great, no real rust, but its certainly not show condition :biglaugh:
Hey Red show us some pictures of all the equipment you have. Just buy a cheap one time camera and have a disc made. I would like to see pictures. :wwp: :wwp: You keep talking all these deal's you get so just show us.

I tried the disc thing before..my crappy computer wont load anything. I had to have a programer come out and manually install my Printer.
Computer is a dedicated internet computer. Custom Built for Highspeed, with alot of disc space for fast data retrieval.
Its a Gateway 2000 that has been gutted and completely rebuilt ground up.
When I had my old HP Pavillion, I found that I had all this wasted space on the drive, and took forever to retreive data, then the needle crashed onto the discs in the harddrive, and ruined it.
Got this computer from a close friend who had like 50 of them built for his business, and he had a couple leftover.
If this comp would just DIE id replace it with a nice new one with all the goodies to load pics..id then have reason to buy a digi-cam too.
It would take 3-4 pics to get it all in.
Ive got alot of stuff man..
Everything in my sig, plus.

You have to have another snapper RER.
I am a Bolens guy but have an old snapper comet 8 hp, I love that mower. It does a better job than any other rider I have. Takes a little longer with the 30" deck but that just gives me more seat time.
Of course I have to use my Bolens to tow the lawn sweeper (wouldn't want it to feel left out)
