Well, on our trip home we decided to stop off at a place called Edaville railroad. Its in Carver Mass, just a little off cape.
A tint bit of History... It was started when the owner of a cranberry bog, bought up the old Mane 2' rail engines, and cars when they stopped running. Well one thing turned to another, and here we are,,
Sadly there was no steam running yesterday, but it was still fun. Also kinda sad to see thye old steam just sitting stadic, but I guess better then nothing.

Ya it was. Mostly a place for kids now, and less train stuff, but still a fun day

Been there when I lived on Cape Cod, they still have the train ride? That was back in the early 70`s I lived in Falmouth for 2-1/2 years. Nice place but don`t use the main roads in the summer, only the back roads if you want to get any place. In the winter the place is dead.
Some of the houses up there are thrown together, no doors on any rooms except the bathroom and only one layer of plywood flooring, not even tongue N grove you could see the dirt floor below and the rents were nuts.
I got lucky lived in my bosses mother`s 3 bedroom ranch for $25.00 a week she wanted someone living there to house sit, while she lived in Florida. That was a deal even back in the 70`s. Use to go to a place called lakeville, had a small dirt track and stock car racing, that`s when they were really stock cars. Lots of good racing, if you could drive on dirt you could drive on any surface.

Yup, they still have the ride. Last time I was there about about 6 or so years ago they were pulled by a steam engine, but it was a small diesel this time.
