I just put a new blade on one of my snapper pushers last year...Time to pull it off and check the numbers.

Red, the recall was directed at riding mowers, don't know whether the push ones use the same blades or not, but like you said, might be worth a check anyhow :)

Those blades are AFTERMARKET blades..........not one's put out by Snapper. Sold as Silver Streak and Oregon replacement blades for Snapper riders.

I bought one of those blades last summer! Same color. and, i could never get that durn blade to stop hitting the edge of the mower deck! no matter how much i bent the deck edge, or moved the blade, would get it to quit hitting the edge! I finally took it off and re-installed the old blade, and everything is good now! The old blade had a rounded end on the blade-the new one was square! Shop man said my old one was that way when i bought the machine new, but too far back to remember! 1983!
