Congratulations WN!

I knew it would happen!

Take a look at the picture of my Mrs. on the HG in your original thread. I swear the tracks on my friends HG are spaced wider than yours. Do you know anything about this?

I might have a better picture of it from the front if your interested... (The HG... not my wife :biglaugh:)

After a little research I found out; there are 2 versions of the HG (OC3) HG42, HG68, from center track to center track its 42" or 68" (that what I learned today :fing32: ).

Pulling out Cedar (Juniper) trees their root systems is shallow (12" and less) but it extents 20' outside the tree, My Mahindra can do it but I lose tractions and deep dig ruts with the tires.

Then play with it :thThumbsU :sidelaugh

I'll have to check my dad's garage Wing. He had hydraulics on both the OC & HG for his dozer blades, but not the 3 pt. attachment(that I know of). Never know what he had stashed in that garage before he passed. It is always an adventure to go there to lookin' for parts.:omg:

Pigsitter,
They aren't big crawlers but they sure can do a lot. We used them from everything from plowing/discing the garden to leveling ground for pools, etc.

The the rusty looking area are the Cletrac original paint bleeding through.

It was coverted to 12 volts and it has a replacement hood and grill that was for the Oliver OC3 (somebody painted green and did a quick and dirt job).

I don't know anything about where, how, what and when to lube the tracks and drive assembly yet.

It's been awhile but if I remember corectly there grease zerks as indicated by arrows. They are not regular zerks though. The grease gun fitting slides over the zerks rather than snapping on. Here's something from yesterdays tractor magazine forum that may help: http://www.ytmag.com/crawlers/messages/36987.html

Like I said it has Oliver Tins in it. Its missing oil pressure gauge, the electrical system FBAR, but it almost works. I need to replace the solenoid and remove a voltage regulator and hook up the kill switch.

There is no dawbar or hitch, no hydralics, but it has a cool bumper.

The front oil seal leaks and of course the Marvel-Schebler Carb leaks fuel on the frame. I have never came across a none leaking Marvel-Schebler Carb yet.

When you jump the started with the battery cable it starts right up :fing32:

The Thottle level is worn out and need repair so it can hold speed.

There a lot of nickle and dime things (that will cost me $200 to replace).

Thanks; but is it worth the risk of playing Indiana Jones in your father's garage???? The adventure faught with unknown traps and dangers :sidelaugh

Thanks for the lube locations :thThumbsU
