The Moline Universal Tractor was a two-wheel unit design for use with the farmers hourse-drawn implements as well as newly developed Moline tractor-drawn implements. The Universal tractor was commonly refered to as the 1st Row Crop tractor.
It was equipped with electric lights and a starter, which was very advanced for it's time. Think about that your tractor electric lights before you house.
Lewis has 2 Universals 1919 and 1924; the '24 has smaller rear wheels.
Here is a 1919 for sell in Cali (http://vintagetractors.com/moline.html) just $20,000

The rear wheels are just a little different between the two.
It was designed to replace a horse, in fact they made sure the farmer had the same field of view as plowing with a horse :fing20:

On the 1924 version an innovated farm need more tractor while plowing, no wheel weights (or tractor weights have not been invented yet), he removed the wheels an pour concrete in wheels.
These have 4 cylinder engines, Moline did make a 2 cylinder model that is extremely rare; 4 are known.
