Just uploaded the pics from my generator/regulator project. While I was in there
I painted the fan and shroud and gen/regulator brackets. I made sure of good grounds by using star washers and all shiny contacts sealed with anti-oxidant electrical grease. Have a look. Go here:

Thanks! The next time I get under the hood I suppose a new radiator is in order. I'll probably tear down the oil breather and paint it next. After I get some more hobby money, a gasket set, then paint the whole engine!

This is just my thoughts, but I like to paint the whole tractor at once. I figure that makes for no seams in the paint, and less chance for the paint to chip. I have no evidence to back that up, like I said, just my thoughts on the subject.

Good thoughts, I think that when I go for the major teardown I will repaint all the red at once so like you are saying it will look even.
