This Waterloo Boy came from Pflugerville (http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/articles/PP/hlp25.html)Texas. There were only 2 known Waterloo Boy in Texas
the other was found in Twin Sisters. (http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/articles/TT/hnt40.html) Lewis had both of them in his collection at one time.

This one was found on a farm in Pflugerville. Pflugerville main claim to fame is SecondHand Lions (http://www.secondhandlions.com/) were Duvall beats up the 4 hood in the BBQ joint.

My daughter hamming it up!

Robert Duvall was in a movie call The Stars Fell on Henrietta (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114534/). A Fordson that Lewis owns was in the movie, Lewis made a $1000 month from Warner Bros for renting them the Tractor.

The Waterloo Boy still runs and since this will probably be able to see this tractor, I figure I would take lots of pictures of it.

What a treasure trove is that Lewis place! Thank you Wing for the post of the Waterloo Boy. That one looks a lot bigger than the pictures that I am used to seeing of the Waterloo Boy. Heard somewhere, may have been one of your posts, that they made a larger one later in production. Just before John Deere acquired them. Is that one of those?

I really don't know if it is; Waterloo Boy was bought out by John Deere in 1918 (this does conflict with other dates I have found). You would find "JD" stamp on the frame after March 1918 and chain steering was replace in 1920 with the automotive type.

Nice looking Waterloo Boy. Much cleaner than the one down at Powerland. Seem to remember it is still in original condition.

I believe that is a Type "R" not an "N". I say this because of the chain steering and drive. The "N" came after the "R". The R is worth considerably more the the N since only about 8,000+ were produced. The N usually goes for around $25,000 to $30,000.

Now that Fordson roller is the type of machine I'd like to restore.

Wish I didn't live half a nation away.

OH-WELL .. I probably couldn't afford it anyway..
