:wwp: I and the boys went out to the steam-up yesterday for a while. Been going for so long my picture taking endeavors was greatly reduced this yr.
Will post separately so I can comment on each one/group.
How about some steam made Ice Cream. They had 2 ice cream makers running this yr and people standing in line. tasted great but damn it was COLD.

Had a good selection over in the garden tractor area. Was surprised to see a small subsection with Potland Oregon made machines only.
Nice looking Economy with attachments.
How about the Dave Bradley, Ride'um DB.
Interesting air compresor from IR

Here is a piece of history Clesie Cummins personal lathe.
Had several other one of a kind items in the truck muesum. #1 PayMaster truck if any of you remember this short lived truck. Also had the prototype of KW's T2000 tractor and a small scale model tractor.trailer combo for wind tunnel testing. Models cost about $150k.

Thanks Mickey!
Those are some very unique exhibits that you chose to photograph!
I can't figure out the Delco light plant. The engine end really looks strange... a belt driven fan, I guess for cooling, but what is the silver enclosure behind it? Maybe a shroud for the fan to pull air across some cooling fins?
What is the name of the show?

This is the Great Oregon Steam-Up held annually the last weekend in Jul and first wekend in Aug. I've posted the link to the Antique PowerLand web site in other posts and there are a lot of pics posted there. Next month will be the annual truck show held at the same location. 5 different museums on the site. Antique Powerland is located about 10 mi N of Salem at the Brooks offramp.
Yes the Delco is an air cooled setup and the silver is the ducting for the air flow. This is a 3 cyl powerplant if memory serves me correctly.

Forgot a couple pics in first post.
A small Case steam engine that was pulled to site by horses.
For you old B&S fans, here's a fan cooled B&S. Next to it is an unusual fan as it is powered by water.

Great show, Mickey!! There were about a dozen of the David-Bradley 3-wheelers at the I&I Club show this year with diff. implements mounted on them plus another dozen regular 2-wheel walk behind DB's! They were neat! thanks; sonny

Cool compressre!! I have seen one before. 6 cyl radial. 3 powerd, and three pumping. Was that one runnning??
Also That old BS motor looks like a early motorcycle engine. Wonder what its used for?

Paul, Didn't see the compressor running and for the B&S, have no idea what it was used for and there wasn't anyone around to ask. If it was a bike engine, why the need for a fan? By the shape, that application did come to mind. Maybe an ole small boat application?
