I was at my favorite burger joint yesterday, and they had a landscaping crew in spreading mulch around. They used a Toro "Dingo 220" model mini skid loader. This unit would fit in the back of a small import truck, but the bucket looked to carry about 1/2 yard of mulch. The operator stood on a small platform at the rear of the machine, or could opt to walk behind on foot. It had a diesel engine, judging from the sound, and was extremely manuverable. No pics I'm afraid, but what a neat piece of equipment. Anyone know the when built and how much $$ new these things are??

They have been around for a wile, and realy a fast growing part of the constrection equipment market. Many other companys make them also. Dont remember the prices on them, but I checked once and it was up there. Think I would get a used skidsteer before one of them.
