I recently got a Ford 120, looking for what ever you guys can tell me about it (or where to look).

Tractor # is 53093-1730

The mower deck # is 59740-7201, any idea what the deck belt length would be? No belt came with it, Operators manual part # for belt is 343042 (Ford number?).

Congratulations on your Ford 120. Having the numbers is a big plus. I have had real good luck with the local NAPA parts store cross referencing belts. As always your mileage may vary.

If you have a TSC near you they have a good crossover catalogue. I know my neighbor bought a belt for his 120 at our local store.

I was at tractor supply 2 weeks ago and the book we looked through didn't even list Ford. Maybe I should call during the day and talk to the regular parts guy.

Look under Jacobsen. They made a lot of tractors for Ford.

I know your Ford is a 1967 model but I'm having problems finding a belt interchange for that. But someone in the Yahoo group should know.

You can also try a New Holland dealer.

Thanks alot guys, I've got a few more questions, but one problem at a time.

I called NAPA this morning and they said they had a couple of listing, but probably a 46" belt. What if I took a piece of 1/2" rope to ball park it?

Your tractor was built by Jacobsen and if you have the 42" cast alum. deck that most of these tractors had originally, New Holland should have the belt but.... it will be VERY expensive. The belt # is 86514511 (FIN 6514511). The last time I priced one it was $50. You can use a A-137 or A-139 belt(either should work) for about $15 at any belt supplier.
