Well I`ve got over 50 hours on my G110 with no problems runs great the Kolher starts and runs great. I thought the 25 horse power motor was over kill but it`s not get into heavy grass and that thing does not slow down. Engage the PTO and the only time it will slow down is if your moving forward.

The mower blades could be better kind of remind me when I bought my Scotts they had weak blades. I use the tractor more then most would. I made my own set of Gator Mulching blade out of a set used on a G100 tractor that mower deck still uses the round mounting point not the starlock like on the G110 and the 190C.

I save time using the tractor with it 54" mower deck, in tall grass the front tire will mat down the grass, with the Gators install they pull the grass right back up, just have to slow down some. The mower does a nice job cutting the lawn nice and smooth.

I just changed the oil and oil filter very easy the oil cooler helps get the oil away from the tractor and into the drain pan. Need to get a air filter for it, will stop and get one on my way to work tomorrow. The big rear tires make for a nice ride and the seat is very comfortable, not that bad on gas.

I`m happy with the G110 would I get another, maybe if the price was right. Even the 190C at $2995.00 is to much money for this tractor I think a Craftsmen with the 26 Horse motor and a 54" mower deck would be it`s equal, and for less money, At least you can get a bagger for the Craftsmen that doesn`t require a power flow. I don`t know how well it works without it, though.

I paid $2,499.00 for this one, was brand new, a left over. They couldn`t sell it for the asking price of $3,699.00. You can still buy this tractor online from John Deere and they will knock $100.00 off it, you only pay $3,599.00. Or you can buy a brand new 190C same tractor for $2,995.00 which one would you buy. :sidelaugh :sidelaugh :sidelaugh

Update:

I posted in the, look what I broke section. I thought the tractor had just spit the mower drive belt. But when I looked it was a broken Idler bracket. It has two double 90 degree bends then the stud for the pulley to the bracket. The first 90 bend away from the stud had a crack in it about 1.5" long that showed up rusty so that crack had been there a while.

I bought the tractor new right out of the shipping crate. I picked up a small stick and thought that got between the belt and pulley and popped the belt off. There was only 1/2" to 3/4" of clean metal exposed after the rusty break. I welded it back up on both side and ground the welds and blended the toe of the welds. So far so good, still working. this has been the only problem so far.

One hundred hours and it`s still running fine. I`ve used it to mow my bigger lawns and to spread weed and feed with the cargo mounted spreader. Spreader does a nice job the hopper isn`t as big as the tow behind, will hold a 50 pound bag with room to spare. and backing up is real easy it won`t jack knife on you, LOL.

The only things I`ve done is normal maintence oil, filter, air filter, grease where needed. Only one problem and that was an easy fix, weld repaid listed in one of my other reviews. The 25 hp Kolher will smoke on start up, every once in a while but not that often, the oil isn`t over filled.

The 25 HP motor real has a lot of power and doing leaves right now isn`t a problem. I just mulch them up, make a pile of ground up leaves and then suck them up and bag them put them out for pick up.

I`m still using the home made Gator mulching blade I made by open up the mounting hole. They are the best improvement I done for this big lawn mower. Nice riding and nice tight turns, The high speed sweeper works well, and filling the 18 bushel hopper doesn`t seem to put any undue stress on the hyrdo, which some of JD purists say is a weak link on the L and 100 series lawn tractor.

I see where I can get another hydro if I ever need one online for $287.95. This one is as follows Tuff Torque Transaxle #7A632084050 / John Deere AM131257. This popular replacement transaxle replaces the John Deere #AM131257 Transaxle used on the G110 rider tractor mower - Equipped with 1" dia. x 30" wide axles that have snap ring grooves - and keyways. Axle housing approx. 17" wide and has 9/16" splined and threaded input shaft - has variable speeds - equipped with fluid reservoir. The last part I like...

So I`m pleased with the tractor so far, so I think I`ll keep it around for a while longer. :fing32:

Yes very good lawn tractor, but I haven`t moved it since last summer. It`s under cover, the hood is faded really bad. It sat on my trailer for 4 years all the time I used it doing my lawns. :fing32:

Good lawn tractor, even cut better after I put Gator mulchers on it, they even bagged great. The OEM blades were thin and didn`t hold a edge very long. It ran 6 days a week from April to Dec. for 4 years.

Got lots of hour on it, no meter, I can`t bring myself to pass it on to my nephew, was my first new lawn tractor. So I found a Craftsmen LT4000 w/42" deck for him instead. :sidelaugh
