I just sold my B8200 , belly mower and loader and now I'm in the market for another kubota. I have 55 acres , mostly wooded and I do some pretty heavy work along with a lot of mowing and bush hogging. The 8200 has been a great tractor and I've never had a problem with it in the past 7 years but the power just wasn't there for some of the jobs I needed to do. I'm looking at the L3030 with the cab and all of the other L series up to 44 HP. The cab but it would be nice but would ne nice if I can afford it. I have all the attachments and all I will need is a tractor and loader.
What I would like to know is you guys input on the best tractor and most HP for the money up to the 4400.

I'd be lookin at the new M series for your size property. Maybe a L 5030 at the smallest.

For 55 acres, I agree. You need to look up the size scale.

I replaced a 85 hp Same with a 3130 way to small for my needs but it gets the job done.
I would have to agree the smallest I would get is the 5030 if the budget allowed

:Welcome1: You might want to look at the MX5000 as well. Hoever the only transmission available is the 8x4 standard and the LA852 loader is strong but does not come stadard with the quik attach bucket. :goodl:

I got the L4400 last year. Its a real nice tractor. I went with this model because I needed the HP. They originally tried selling me a Grand L model, but the Grand L's were more expensive for less HP. I have some large hills on the property and the mower I have needs at least 25 HP PTO and I wanted as much PTO HP as I could get. The L4400 has 37 PTO HP. The only problem is it only come with a stick shift. Has plenty of HP for the 72" snowblower I got for it also. I mow 30+ acres with this tractor as well as bush hogging 15+ acres, along with hauling brush and FEL work. The tractor has no problem hauling the 2500lb mower.
