I am in need of a new tractor (about 50 HP) with loader and I am serously considering a Kubota anyone have a good used one or know the best place to purchase one.

Both the M and L series are good machines, none have the resale of the Deeres, in fact the Kubota's have dropped relative to the Deeres since the 90's based upon some compacts of both I sold over the period.

Which is better I would be using it mostly for moving pallets onto semi's and moving my equipment around. I would not be doing much farming with it.

I believe better for your purposes would be which dealer will give you the best price and give you the best service after you compare like units in the same class!!:fing32: They both make fine quality tractors!

I have also been looking at a M 5000 and I have heard some rummers that the hydrolic systems on a kubota are not that good, also does anyone know for sure if the transmission casing is made up of aluminum, I heard it was by a few different people
