Bret; First off, glad your up and running again. Now-you said your dealer could set you up with a 7000 series tractor if need be. You should ask him if ya can use one for a day. Just to try it out. I may be wrong, but sounds like you have lots to do with your 6000. I think you will be empressed on the diff between the two(6000-7000_) Just a thought. Also. would like to know how much your 60" finish mowa cost. I can not find a site that has $ amounts on the Cub attachtments.Crap, I cannt find a site that has them period. Thanks and Happy tractoring to ya Scotty Dog Will someone do a NO-RAIN DANCE PLEASE.

Scotty,

Sorry for the confusion, the 7000 series I am reffering to is the same as my 6000 series
only it's gas powered (Kawasaki Vtwin Liquid Cooled). When Cub added the 8000 series
to the product line they renamed the 7000 series to the 6000 series and filled the void
with your 7000 series.

Of course in the process they added Caterpillar Diesel power to the 6000.

You have a fine machine but it's too big for my needs. Most of the work I am doing is
along the edge of my property where I have a long burried drain system and it's not
under the ground far. Your machine would crush the pipe with no sweat, it's too heavy.

As it stands my 6000 with the Hoe and FEL on is a heavy machine @ 3808Lbs and
your FEL and Backhoe are a good bit heavier plus your machine (bare) comes in
around 2300. I don't think the burried pipe could take the weight. And I am not sure
I would like to mow my lawn on a machine as big as yours. I only have two acres and
some change, if I had 10 or so I would have the new 7000 for sure.

My 60" rear finish was $1895.00 and it's part number 590-631 and let me tell you it is
one WELL MADE BEAST! It weighs just shy of 500Lbs!

And it cuts fantastically too!

7252 2wd and 7254 4wd were Kawasaki 25hp liquid cooled gas powered.
7264 26hp and 7304 30hp were Daihatsu diesel...30hp was turbo.
Correct......intro of Mitsubishi built 7530 8spd shuttle and 7532 hydro brought a change in model series to the Cub uS built machines. 6264 Daihatsu diesel(short run but they're around) and last but not least the 6284 Cat powered. This chassis is very versatile as far as engine power it will accept. Over the years we have sold each of these machines except the 6254....it didn't stick around long enough.

My personal favorite is the 7254 kawasaki 4wd. That little tractor is quiet and will work its fanny off. We have several out.........all with FEL and a couple with backhoes.

Neil,

You are right the 7254 is quite the tractor.. That's the one I had down my house for
a couple weeks (from my Cub Dealer) they let me use it to see if I liked it. And I most
certainly DID! But I decided to go new (warranty) and diesel (just something about
having those Cat stickers on the side of the hood).

But honestly the gas job was STRONG I have no down the Kaw Vtwins will last many
thousands of hours, my Deere 425 had 1180 hours on it when I traded it in (20HP Kaw
Vtwin Liquid Cooled) ran like a top, had tons of compression.
