I had hail damage on two cars and decided to try dry ice. The site also said it kills moles and attracts mosquitoes!

How did the moles cause hail damage?

Yeah, I'm missing something. What do dry ice and hail damage have to do with each other? The rest I understand. The sublimating CO2 is heavier than air so it will travel down the mole hole and suffocate them. Mosquitoes are attracted to CO2 (like in exhaled breath) so I guess they would circle the dry ice looking for lunch.

He would not let the moles use his cars, so the moles prayed for a hail storm and it worked. And now the :crybaby: wants pay backs. :sidelaugh

This is only my opinion, so take it for what you think it's worth. Dry ice may repair hail damage by cooling and shrinking the damaged area, thereby removing the dent.

Somehow with the title to this I was picturing a mole with a smoking martini in his paw!!!!

Hadn't thought about the CO2 going down the holes! Good idea!

it would take about $10 for a ground hog. I poured left over concrete at both openings for a ground hog.

I chased another one down with a garden tractor. Minced meat.

I know they was golfers.

Golfers good.

Gophers bad.

When you toss dry ice down the holes, don't forget the gin & tonic.

I think carbon monoxide would be more effective than carbon dioxide but what do I know??

Try it on the moles and let me know if it works. I am always interested in new ways to kill moles.
