to30 rear drag link

On my to30 the rear drag link has play in it. I went to tighten the nut and the whole shaft and all spins. I cannot loosen or tighten it up. Any help would be appreciated on how to get this thing off-Sean dixon

Im missing something here. What part are you working on, and what nut are you turning?

Look at drag link end on this pic--the nut on the end of the drag link with the cotter pin through it--

Ahhhh ok I got it now.

Well been there. That rod joint is probably worn out. Best way to remove the nut would be a impact. Without that, sometimes you can lever the tierod up, or down, to put a load on the ball and scoket. Worse case, you cut it off.
