Just found something interesting. I was out in shed taking down all the #s of the beast. The label on the frame (model & ss#) Has "Cleveland Ohio" on the top and on the bottom of label .now get this-"Made In Japan"??????? I thought this Cubby was made in the USA. Whaaaz uppieee with that? This MTF site is pretty cool. Had a chance to surf around and as they say it has "Many Faces" I was in the photos and saw the "Ultiment lawn Boy" by (pdog666??) The one thats a lawn mowa and a bike . That rig is alright for sure. I am new and in time I hope to contribute to this site as all yous have. Scotty Dog

Your machine is not made in the USA it's made in Japan by Kioti I beleive...

My machine is made in the USA from Foreign and Domestic parts (Unite Kingdom for
the engine (Caterpillar/Perkins) China for the Hydrostat, USA for the steel pieces etc.

And the next step up from your machine (8000 series) is made in India? (Mahindra?)

Nothing new with manufacturers doing this. Cub is not a volume seller like Deere and
even then, lots of Deere parts are made in Korea and Japan (Yanmar, the hydrostats etc.)

It's this whole "global economy" BS!

Yep, sign of the times Scotty, many manufacturers have been doing this for quite a while now. The "USA made" thing is falling by the wayside and Brett pretty well hit the nail on the head about it all being the global economy thing along with where can we make it cheaper. :coffee:

And it wouldn't have stopped me from buying the 7500 series anyway, I think the Kioti
tractors are VERY nice machines! (Mahindra, I am not sure about.. I don't generally
buy products made in India, Pakistan etc.)
