Hi
I was looking at the manual for my scooter. It says not to use Castor based oil. I am using Castrol Syntec ( full synthetic ). Is Castrol a castor based oil even though it is full synthetic ? Am I just getting mixed up by the Brand name?

castor oil...he he he...isn't that somewhat like milk of magnesia? That'll get your motor running...right to the can.

I think your getting the brand name mixed up.

Castor oil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castor_oil) is a derivative of the casor bean whereas Castrol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castrol) is a petroleum brand of lubricants.
