So here goes-Tractor should nave been hhere at 12 noon-W/ phone call telling me there on their way. !2noon comes and goes-1 oclock I call and say "Whaaaz up!!!!!! Tell me trucks out on deliveries and should be back soon and my rig should be here 3-330. 3300-400 comes and goes and no show. WELL at 430 the truck comes up the hill.Mind you -Its been pooring cats and dogs all day.So I am just a bit touchy at this point. So the guy gets off the truck and I have back int in the shed. Shuts it down and we look her over and have tractor talk . So now the guy starts to head out and I say" Weres my swag?" ya now -hat shirt -key chain ect. He got notta!!! The day ends. I get up Sunday morning and no rain. GREAT-Time to play. Well my mother in law brother and law and wife are there for the big start up. HAHAHA I sits down check this that and TURN the key NOTHING!! Try this combo-NOTHING- By now ole granny (mother in law)(Its ok I call her that) starts to crack up laughing. Now ya gotta know this lady. 74 yrs young and she puts on the leathers and jumps on the back of her sons bike and heads out ridding. She is something.Anywhoo-Now I be scratching my head and maybe little humiliated.THEN granny leans over the fender and reads"To Start Engine" Put PTO in nuterly.Ect ECt .Turns out I had not PUSHED the botton. So then it happens' I turn the key and it COMES TO LIFE. AWSOME here we go. OPPS not so fastI check the vitals and "Huaston we have a proplem" The M%^%$$## s droped it off BONE DRY! I shut it down. Never got her out of the shed. Now I gotta go and get fuel. Well ya gotta know were I live .Trying to find a fuel can on a sunday HA HA Goodluck!! Ya I shoulda had one here but I didnt ! so after many stops at any store open I find a can and get the fuel. OK so the rig is in the shed-fuel fill on top of hood.Trying to poor a 5 gal can in to that little hole NO WAY-Last thing I needed at this point was fuel allover the rig and my shed floor.(honestly - I did not dare to evevn pull it outa shed) The fuel needle didnt even lift)So I get a 1gal can poor gas out the 5 gal can. Then I still need to cut a piece of rubber hose to put over the spout so I dont spill any. After all that, I get fired up and pull outa the shed. AWESOME!!I love this thing . Am so glad I went for the 7530 .I was like "Bret" and was going for the 6000. I figured its a one shot deal and as "Bret" said' Base price for the 7530 was real close to the 6000. I know Im new at this .But safe to say the 7530 is in a whole diff class. I gave up the Hydro and the Mid pto. With the "shuttle shift" thats on the 7530 -no biggy on the standard tranny. Well =If ya still with me,I got a few hrs in on it and do say I LOVE IT BABY!!! heres some more pics. And thanks to all for the congrats on the new buggy.

Scotty,
I am glad to hear everything is working out for you with the 7500 series. Too
much tractor for my needs. As it was my 6284 came out to just shy of 24K (and
I do mean "just" shy). I could not justify over 30K for your machine with the FEL,
Backhoe and rear mower.
Your 7500 is very similar to the Yanmar my dad had a while back. A hell of a
machine and the shuttle shift is a nice feature (so is the full cast iron transmission
setup like you have).
Aside from two small issues that I've had (both of which my dealer bent over
backwards to fix) it's been fantastic and has moved close to 40 tons of dirt
and gravel so far.
I think you will have many decades of hard work in that machine!
Thanks for sharing the photos and story with us! Keep the details comming! :fing32:
We Cub CUT owners seem to be a bit of a rarity.

Scotty,
That is nice! Looks like you suffer from the same illness I do: we've sized our shed barely large enough for our tractors:

JD,
Yeah but if you didn't have the cab it'd go in... You have foldable ROPS right?
Can't have it all.... :)

Brett,
The ROPS isn't foldable, but just fits. Any ideas on how to make the cab foldable would be appreciated! ROF
