I bought a cub 3200 GT last yr. what is the capacity of the aux. hydraulics of this unit?(lift capacity, etc.) i want a CUT but only have 2.6 acres. the back acre rolls downhill into a ditch. it is covered with thick briars and kudzu and needs to be cleaned off and bush hogged. i am trying to justify a CUT but cannot. we would like to have a couple of horses and are currently looking for 10 to 20 acres. maybe i will just buy the CUT to get this property prepped for sale and then use it on my new property. :trink39:
I wish my wife were as easily convinced of our "need" for a tractor as I. anybody own a CUT with similar cirumstances to mine?

One way to convince the wife that ya need a "CUT" would be to buy her a scythe for a belated Mother's Day present and tell her she will have to help ya clear your property by hand to get it ready for sale so you can buy a larger piece of property for the horses she wants.

might work with some women, but she would simply say NO. she did just get a very nice rock for a 5th anniversary gift. i will have to mention that.

It is OK to buy something because you "want" it, if you can do so without undue budgetary stress. I bought my tractor because I wanted to have one and could afford to buy one. What I needed was to spend $100 or so twice a year to have someone bush hog off the 8 acres I use the TC30 on.
IMHO, it may be Un-American to wait until you "need" something to buy it. Go for it.

Or, just get someone with bushhog to clear for you if you don't want to do by hand or with DR Brushmower (rented or purchesed.) Good luck with getting the acres, you will not be sorry you have the land. Get a used CUT as needed, save for THE LAND

Some things are just beyond justification. I just bought a JD 4110 with a FEL and a 54" MMM. I live in a city. But, the more tractor you have, the more you find uses for it.
