Just thought I would mention that I asked here a while back for a good source of operator, service and parts manuals for my Farmall. Several folks here recommended Binder Books. Well, I got them the other day and they are top notch, exact duplicates of the originals as far as I can tell. Just a note to say thanks and if anyone else is interested, they probably arent the cheapest manuals, but they are very good reproductions IMO. Thanks for the good advise. :hatsoff:

Kurt, glad you are pleased with your purchase! It makes you feel a little beter about spending the $$ if you are happy with the result. I've never heard anything bad about binder Books, so I don't mind recomending them to others.

Michael, I believe they only cover IH stuff, but they do a thorough job of it! I believe they are the only company authorized to do complete reprints of the original IH manuals, and they do a complete reprint!

Got mine last friday. The wife got tickled at the brochure they included for collectable stuff. I may get a farmall thermometer or a cub street sign for my birthday next month. THe 2 manuals I got were the service manual and the parts catalog, really impressed!

We have some old original IH manuals in our collection,, I was very impressed by the emphasis the company placed on quality work in their instructions to the service man.

I just made another purchase from Binder......although the reason for doing so isn't really cool......
I had my '51 H out yesterday, got to the back field, hooked onto the disk, put her in 2nd, cracked the throttle....let out the clutch......and she died!!
Fired her back up....and it was spitting and coughing like crazy, and was pretty much refusing to pull any load. The only way it will run half azzed is to pull the choke out part way.
So I decided it was time....I'm going to totally clean and rebuild the carb, give it a complete tune up, and adjust the valves.
I want to do it right, so I ordered a Service Manual, Parts Manual, and a Lift-All Service Manual (in the winter I'm going to put in a new clutch, and I'll rebuild the Lift-All while I'm at it)
In the comments section of the Order Form, I told them I have ordered from them several times before, and was always pleased with the service, and quality.
At the bottom of the Order Confirmation e-mail I recieved back from them today was these words:
"Thank you too for your kind words. We do our best to do good works
here. An
occasional acknowledgement like yours goes a long way to getting me
through
my Monday.
All the best,
Jack Campbell
Binder Books"
:congrats: to Jack Campbell...
Binder Books-quality products, and quality people!!
