It has been 1 year since my trip to Canada to pickup what is know to the old timers as the mystery tractor. It was a challenge for the members of TF to identify this tractor. Some may recall the adventure I posted on TF of my trip to get the tractor and my visit with bear and his family just a year ago.

I look back over he past year and think about the good and the bad the trip brought. The part finding out about the great highways in SK, loosing my guide to bears place and finding some very muddy gravel roads. Sight seeing in Regina while pulling trailer with the mystery tractor on it. Oh yes, becoming a tempary citizen of Canada to get in. Makes me wish I would have bought them tractors in my other post. What fun these road trips can be.

Back to the mystery tractor. Well, I had a chance to put it to work this spring. It did some disking and planting with it. Guess today was just a reminder why I enjoy collecting old Case tractors. Before I forget the mystery tractor was a 1959 Case 702B. Tractor doing what it does best.

Well just wanted to update since we did the disking and planting. Was hoping to get a picture before the oats got cut. Due to the heat and dry weather the oats got ready early. The show is not till the 19th so it will have time to dry good before threshing it next month. Looking at the piles there should be plenty to thrash.
