Dug out my old toy steam traction engine this weekend, and need some help. Well first I have never used any type of steam oil in it. I know I should, but have no idea where to get it, or how it is used.

Also there is some rust buildup in the boiler. Im sure it was my falt, and never realy stored it right when I was younger, but just wondering if there is something I can use to clean it out, or if there is something I should put in the water to help it.

BTW, my little girl LOVED it!!!!!! I was loosing her a little waiting for steam to come up, but once it did, she loved to watch "Trever" move around. [those with kids know the name I am sure]

Paul :: You must of had some pellets, were they still good?..must of been you made steam..This is where I get my pellets.. http://www.purveyor.com/index.htm ..When theres no kids around you can fire it up with WD-40.. :fing20: ..I'm sure its not in the manuall...Pellets are not cheap.. sometimes you can catch a deal at model engine shows..(no shipping)..Sounds like she's hooked now..Know telling where this will lead you... :trink40: ..Byron
