View Full Version : Diesel Fuel Filter?
I need a filter to filter water and other debris for a 15 gallon Diesel storage tank.
What kind of in line filter do I need and where do I get it?
What fittings might I need to install it?

That's what you want. What I would suggest is see if you can get the replacement element locally. If not be sure to have a clean dry place to store replacement filters.
You might also check with your local auto parts store. WIX/ NAPA/ Carquest all supply a filter assy to do the same job.
What size hose will you be using? What ever you get, pipe ports are the easiest to adapt.

I was looking at these at TS the other day but wasn't sure that was what i needed.

They work fine except you can't see when the tank's full till it runs over.
They should make them out of clear instead of black or yellow plastic.
