Louis Miller is restoring a 1908 2 cylinder that he picked up for $500 3 years ago in Alabama.
The Seat is really bad shape and that's gives you and idea how bad the truck looked.

Louis has the truck on jacks and it runs like a sewing machine!
He has everything mechanical running and original.

Louis is 86 years old and is sharp a whip and tell you the stats and specs of any tractor built before 1960. This is probably is last restore project his knees are going out.
If any of y'all are ever come down to visit me, you are going to meet Louis!
Sorry for some of the blurry shots the lighting in his shop is not very good.

Does he know any of the history of this truck and what it might have been used for? Certainly not built for long hauls, but in-town deliveries? Farm truck?

Wing, Lewis is a talanted man. Reminds me of my father when he use to make the wood liners for the old MG's and had patterns for everything. Looking good.

Looking good! I wonder what top speed is?....... probably around 15 MPH? I wouldn't want to go much faster than that in those iron tires.

It tops out at 12 mph and was not intented for paved roads
The truck not running as good as he likes it to for the show. I am going to help him get out the Bull this week.
