Man... you can say that again (safety!)
That was well worth the time to watch it! ROF
I love the part where that guy gets thrown off the D2, or whatever it was.
Any idea what year that was made?
Thanks for the laugh Bear!
i'm just guessing but judging by the machines i'd say late 20's early 30's
just watched it a couple more times looks more like early thirties i think one of the machines looks like a cat 50 and they weren't made until 32

Am I guessing it right that the first prize was that pillow for the guy to sit on since he's probably now got a case of numb-buns?
That was absolutely classic. I have a special appreciation since I work at Cat in repair manual illustrations (yup, I make the little diagrams!) so it was great to see what these guys did for fun!

Thanks Bear,
Great Stuff.
At 2:20 into the movie, there is a guy who looks like he stalled
and he gets off and walks around to the front. Was he trying
to restart using a hand crank !!!!

Yeah - the guy that gets of to re-start is crazy! Then, a few seconds later, they show one going through a building and the roof falls in on him! How DID those people live without OSHA? :00000060:
yep he's getting off to restart. the guy that drove through the building according to our local cat dealer ended up in a body bag once someone got climbed up on their and got it stopped

I did some local research on the film -- yes... that one guy did die during filming.
All tht was shot here in East Peoria, IL. I'll find out more as I can.
