Hi All,
A little introduction: My name is Brett and I just purchased a Cub 6284D 4WD
CAT with the 812 Loader, 612 Backhoe and the 60" 3 Point Finish Mower.
The dealer will be delivering it probably next week some time. They were going
to bring it down this weekend but the 812 loader showed up as in stock but
they can't locate it the inventory so they have another due in.
They are also installing a pair of directional lights that I can swivel front to
back when I am using the hoe and loader.
I started this all off by deciding to trade my Deere 425 in and they gave me
way more than I expected to get for the Deere which has 1180 hours on the
Kawasaki 20 horse gas motor. I was going to buy a 2003 7000 Series 4WD
Cub powered by a 25 horse Kaw. They dropped the 7000 off and let me use
it to see how I liked it (loved it) and decided I wanted the shiney, new Diesel
(it's all about the Cat stickers) :)
I can't wait to get the new Cub home and put it to work!
That's my story and I'm stickin to it! :fing32:

:Welcome1: I wish I could afford one of the new "super" Cub Cadets. They make a very nice machine, and although not cheap, they are very competitive price wise and a good value.

Thanks Jim and Joe,
I will post photos as soon as I can :)
Joe,
Not cheap for sure, but considering some of the escavation work I need to re-do
around the yard it's money well spent. I just had a guy come in with a Case 560
SuperL and he did more damage than good, a few hours work was over a grand.
I am done throwing good money out the window, I want things done my way and for
me to buy my own machine it will be cheaper in the long run. Plus my "garden tractor"
was giving up the ghost and wasn't very time efficient on 2.75 acres the 60" makes
short work of the mowing that's for sure!
I still have the 7000 in my garage, they will take it back when they deliver my 6284
and I have to say, how many dealers will let you use a 10K piece of used equipment?
They are treating me like gold, I am glad I found a great dealer it sure makes the
process a whole lot easier.

Glen,
Go Big and Go Broke! :)
About sums it up....
But at least I will put her to very good use! Not only doing the mowing, digging, land
scaping but also pulling my big boat out of the garage! :)
Plus just sitting in the front yard she'll be the purtiest Tractor in town, bar none.. And
nope I am not biased at all! :D

Thanks for the warm welcome all!
Yeah I can't wait to see my new tractor too... With the Hoe and FEL on! :)
She's gonna be a mean looking machine and to be honest I almost hate the thought of
scratching the buckets up! :)

They delivered my 6284 this morning. WOW what a machine, the photo I
posted does NOT do this piece of work any justice at all! :)
I already dropped and re-attatched the Backhoe to see how hard it would be
and all I can say is, no sweat! Did it by myself in 10 minutes.
I know I need to post photos and I will do that tomorrow if the rain stops.
I am stoked! :)
