ok will give this another try. Been a busy year so far selling some of my treasures. How does one decide when one has to many tractors. First of the year I think the count was 28, case and IH both, running and non running. Most of the tractors really have an interesting story. Some may remember some of the stories from tractorforum.com.

It sadden me to split the 3 900's as the first to go was the 1958 Case 900B.It did not go far as I did give it a ride to it's new home. Maybe someday it will make it back to me.

Second to leave was one of my 1947 Case S's. Since I found a running one I thought it may be best if someone could provide a better home for it. It went to Claremont MN. It went to a collector so hopefully it will someday come back to life.

Caseman, it's tough to have to let stuff go like that, but at least know you're passing on some equipment that will give someone else a smile as they enjoy it :). Really enjoy seeing the pics :fing32:

Thanks Jim,
Yes it's hard to let them go, especially the ones that have a remembering story behind them.

more to come

Now to continue.

The next to find a home was my pair of Case 500's with bad motors. The one with the big tires I was hoping to get it rebuilt but time, money, and a good place to work on them never seemed to happen.

Do to someone helping themselves to some parts didn't matters any. Well then along came another 500 with the parts needed to help the other one.

Between the two there hopefully is enough to make one very good tractor. These 2 now have a new home near Greenbay WI. I got a email saying they were to there new home. These also went to a Case collector and hopefully he will complete my dream of getting one running.

There is still one tractor waiting to go to it's new home. The new owner did claim that he had intentions of fixing it up. ( I do hope so). This one doesn't have a long story but was one of my first break downs hauling it home.

This Case 600 will be going for a long ride Listowel Ontario Canada. They were not sure when they would be finding a ride for it. It is fine where it is till the new owners come after it.

I am still waiting for the guy to come after the 2 LA's that he bought last fall. They will be finding a new home near Springfield Utah. Guess I missplaced the LA pictures. Tractor pull this weekend so maybe I can sneak in one pull with the LA . I keep telling myself for every two I sell I got to buy at least one replacement

Jody,
Will have to take inventory again. Lets see, had 28, sold 5, hmmm now I gotta go get one yet so thats 28-5+1=24. So if my math is right counting parts tractors I should be at 24 yet. Coarse ones I'm dealing on aren't included :):)

Yes you are right bear. The problem is that do to the increase in prices of tractor it takes 2 to get enough to buy one good one back. Trying to save up for that auction next week lol.

I know the feeling bear. Guess I always look at it this way. Sometimes I try to find out just how deep there pockets are but quit before I get there. At least then I know they were willing to pay more than I was lol.
