We just got a nice little TEA20 Ferguson in. It has the British 85MM Standard gas engine and runs really nice!

PM, what kind of price for that little 20 in your area?

Hi Ernie, a 20 like that around here goes for somewhere between $1200 and $2000 depending on condition. This one is in pretty good shape and good hind tires. The bottom of the grill is missing, and the doglegs on the hood are bent some, so likely about $1500-$1800 for it. It's a shame to do it, but we've already sold some parts off of it. I just tell myself that it will help restore and keep many others running. ;)

Yeah, the IH's and Farmalls :fing32: The price range is about the same here in central western Fl. It's also real close to central Tenn.

Thanks for the info PM.

Hope I was of some help Ernie, one thing to keep in mind, the prices I quoted are in CDN$$, so divide by 1.16 to get US right now.

Nice Fergie there. Don't see many TE20's down here, we got mostly the TO20's. TE's were all imported from the UK wern't they? I did see one at a auction once, and looked like a nice tractor.

Paul, this one is a TEA, it has teh british engine, both the TE and TO had the continental as I understand it, so I think the TEs may have been built in Detroit as well but you would have to talk to some one who knows a lot more about the Fergies than me to get a positive answer. ;)

Thanks again PM. You were a real help. Looked at a TE today but the guy want 4000 for it and it looks to be repainted over all the leaks and dirt. I had to pass. the one in your picture looked better than the one I looked at. Again thanks. :fing32:

I was looking at the old fergies when I was big tractor shopping.I could not eaven get near a TO20 for less then 2500, and they were wrecks. Step up to the TO30, and you were talking 3K +

Paul, in my area at least, the TOs are a LOT harder to find so that may account for the price. Personally, I wouldn't rush into a TO either as they tended to have a block cracking problem, and let's face it, a 50 YO tractor is bound to start showing it's weak points. ;)
