It is a water pump of some sort... Feed water for a boiler maybe?
I sure hope you know what it is Kevin, and that you'll tell us eventually!

I'll second Mark's guess in light of what Kevin has been posting of late. Definitely something from steam equip.

:ditto: What Mark said..
I seem to recall you posted it on GW probably several years ago. I'm thinking it was used to pump feed water or oil into a high pressure factory steam system?

Looks like a pressure bell with a site glass for viewing the water level on an old boiler.

Most likely pump of some sort...it's got a sight glass to let you know level inside.
I'll agree with others and say it's feed water pump or maybe condensate pump.

It's the very first Mr.Coffee coffeemaker....
I also think that it is feed or make-up water pump for a boiler.

No one's got it yet.... Let me help you... It has nothing to do with steam... I know it looks like boiler equiptment and that why I posted it here... I'll let it ride a few days and see if anyone can guess with it is... I do know what it is and it was hard for me to find out what it is... I will let you know if it's not guessed...

This is just a guess, but it seems like I remember seeing something like that they used to paint old farm barns with. So...a spray paint compressor rig?

Top picture looks like there is some sort of valve with a packing nut around the stem... or maybe it's a fitting?
Bottom picture seems to have an accumulator tank (receiver / dryer?) so maybe something to so with refrigeration, and from the age I would guess ammonia?
Maybe a refrigeration compressor for a milk bulk tank?
Maybe a vacuum pump for a milking machine?
How much longer Kevin...!
