Must be a browser issue. It's a Safari issue for me, as Firefox and Opera display the Latest Thread gifs ok. All the big gifs on the Homepage are fine.

Still not working O K on my end...I think SJ is working on something so it'll probably be better tomorrow.

On second thought, that part of the page is not working on any of my browsers --- Safari is showing the gifs as broken links, and Opera and Firefox are showing the gifs as text (ex: unhappy, thumbs down, etc.) Looks like they display the little down arrows ok.

MowHoward2210

Greg Are you seeing any symbols other than the down arrows?

Mow,

I see evrything just fine. Normal..nothing out of place in either Safari, FireFox and now, right this minute, in IE. I saw your snapshot of the desktop and mine is nothing like that...hasn't been. I don't know what to say...

Weird. I get the same behavior on my old iMac that is running 10.3.9 Panther as I am in Tiger.

Greg my Homepage and New Posts displays are just fine, except at the very bottom in the Latest Threads part of the Homepage. How's that section look on your end?

Mow,

I just realized you guys are looking at the "Latest Threads" window at the bottom of the main screen.... I'm looking at the "latest threads" from the Active Topics menu.... :fing20:

I never look at that window...don't know why anyone would...and have it collapsed all the time.

When I did open it, it is screwed up... something for SJ.

LOL, I don't use it either! So I don't know why I obsessed over this. I guess I just expect things to "just work". ;)

Thanks, Greg

My view is all screwed up too. Logging in and out did nothing at my end.

Being the computer illiterate that I am... I haven't got a clue as to how to do that. Instructions anyone..:D

Argee, since you said you're using IE...

To clear your cache:

1. On the Internet Explorer Tools menu, click Internet Options. The Internet Options box should open to the General tab.

2. On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Delete Files button. This will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache.

3. Click OK, and then click OK again.

Argee

Oh that's the cache....I've done that before :D Why such a fancy name for temporary internet files???

Freebird,

Don't worry, ya done good. We always like to hear from members if something isn't right or doesn't work like it appears it should. Sometimes we can walk people through things, sometimes we have to change settings...and something we just have to blame on the software. ROF ROF
