First I'll start with one I made from scratch... It's around 5 hp and runs great... If you want to see more engines I've collected around 5 to 15 hp let me know and I will post more pictures... By the way... I'm looking to buy a wood or coal fired boiler around 5 to 15 hp high pressure if anyone has one for sale... I want it to have national board stamp and ASME stamp...
You made from scratch...as in made all the parts yourself, by hand? WOW...that's cool! Definately, more pics and descriptions. Facinating thing, those little engines.

Very nice work Kevin!!! We have a lot of model builders that come to our show in Rollag. Your work ranks right up there at the top!
Please... More pictures!
Also... I'll ask around about a boiler.

Yep.... I made the whole thing... The valve box was the hardest part... The rest is just like a single cly gas engine...
I do run my engines on air and steam... I also make my own boilers But.... I can not take a home made boiler to an engine show... Any container that holds more than 15 lbs pressure gotta be inspected and that cant be done with out the Nat. and ASME stamped into the metal on the boiler... So I need a legal one...
This next picture is my table top engine and small boiler...

Thanks for the pictures Kevin and excellent work!
Do you still have the two steam engines I think you found in a mill? I think you said they run stokers for boilers maybe?

Lots more pictures comming.... This this is the next pictures...
Yes these came from Scranton Lace in Scranton Pa. when the factory closed up for good... When these engines was pulled from service no one touched them for years... When I asked if they was for sale the office people had no idea what they was...

Looks like you have quite a collection of pumps too Kevin! How many do you have?
A gentleman from Lake Park, MN last year donated his entire pump collection to the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag . I think he had about 80 or 90 of them. We lined a winding path to a gazebo with them.
How many steam engines do you own, and do you have any traction engines?

No traction engines... Hunderds of pumps ( I'll keep the pumps for another thread) Steam engines ??? I would need to go count them...
This next engine is a work-shop engine 5 hp ... Ran everything in the shop from a line shaft...
