I will be ordering a Case DX34 with in the next month and need to info on box scrapers. The one I have been looking at is the Land Pride BB2560. It is there medium duty with manual tines. From what I have seen of similiar box scrapers, the LP has thicker side plates and a beefier 3 pt.

So, is this a good choice?? If any of you have any other recomendations, please let me know.

I need something with some beef to it as most of the area out here is very hard and rocky.

One more thing, would you spend the extra money and go with the hydro ripper shanks?

I went with a King Kutter 6' because I found one almost new for 300.00.

I can see after using it for many hours that quality of design and construction are very important. I've already bent the 3 point connection arms + it didn't match up to my Deere iMatch.

I stopped in at a Tractor Supply Company and see that they carry the King Kutter. One they had there already had the bent up and twisted 3 point arms. My guess is someone used it a time or two and bent them quick like I did. I'm having a welder fix them and reinforce them for me.

Hydro controlled ripper shanks sound like a great investment if they are available. It would be nice to lift and lower them without having to pull a pin out for every one and move it manually.

That hydro ripper shank control would require another control valve which I don't have at this point. If you have connections and a valve available, it may may make more sense for you than for me.

I have the Landpride like you are looking at, only a smaller model I believe. Very heavy duty piece of equipment. I use mine quite a bit. The sides and 3pt steel are thicker than the cheaper models I saw, but I cant see my 2210 ever bending it anyway:). I hardly ever use the teeth, so I cant say too much about those.
