Case of the Uglies!

Hey guys,

I went and helped a buddy tow his new prize home this morning :fing32:
Still not sure what it is, but for $100 he's sure happy with it! All the castings have a prefix of VT on them. It is a 4speed tractor with live hyd, a three point hitch, rear tires are 34" Neat tractor!

His little Ford did a good job towing the Case home, that is until I started to apply the brakes and load her down ROF I was tearing up laughing as the smoke got thicker and thicker coming out his exhaust

he figured it out pretty quick, I got the look! :bannana: ROF

The motor is free, he drained the trans fluid when we got it to his house, it was contaminated with water.

Any help with year and model would be helpful. Thanks

P.S. Mark named the tractor "Case of the Uglies"

Looks Like a Vac-13 or at least the VAC series. Made from 42-55. What I see looks lime a early 50's model. There should be a serial number tag somme where on it. Looks great for the money.
