has anyone ever seen one of these or know anything about them it has select 0 speed trans in it

You sure thats a Ford? With that chrome dish on the front it looks like a Studebaker ROF

Thats a cool tractor. Looks like a old Ford hub cap hanging on the front there.

it is ford hubcap on the front the original emblem got lost at some point in time

Yeah - Nice machines! There was a write up in the "N-Newsletter" a couple of Issues ago. Not a huge amount made, but were workhorses! I'd love to have one! Is it an 1871 with as Diesel? These were Ford's entry into the medium construction equipment market. Some even had 4 wheel drive. Built in the late 50's.

That is the HD industrial. I don't have my books here to look up the actual model no but I will check when I go back to work. I have a 63 4000 Industrial with SOS which has the front axle with spindles instead of king pins like the HD. It also has the standard Ford hood instead of heavy cast front.

frnd mine has one just like it bear but his not selecto speed i dnt thnk and has dffnt backhoe on his bear uses on his farm good ole trctr if need any selecto speed help let me know ill pik pops brain hes the guru lol

I have one also different backhoe . myne is a 1960 gas industrial model. I have a problem with the cable steering. triing to find new cables and parts in columb.any info from anyone would help
