I thought this would be a good day to remove the front blade from my B7100D, it's raining and my new front loader from Homestead Tractor Parts is due here Tues. The blade and all the stuff came off pretty easy, some from the front, some from the rear. The pressure and return lines from the blade controls back to the hyd. of the tractor I just plugged, guess what , the tractor would not start. I had backed it in the barn, ran fine. I checked everything, the engine did blow out smoke when I tried to start it. Could not figure it out. Then I ran the hyd. pressure line back to the return line, started right up. Y'all knew this, I didn't, but I do now. MOUNT IDA

Hydraulics is a different beast altogether :D

On my BX23 I have two separate external hydro connections. The one that feeds to the front is connected to a 3-way valve which has power in, power out/beyond and return. This allows the valve to stay "hot" at all times, even when the FEL or whatever front mounted implement is dismounted and disconnected.

The rear connection is a power out and return which feeds the backhoe. Since all the valves are in the BH there is no 3-way valve in the circuit so when I have the BH dismounted I have to couple the power out to the return, just like you had to do when you dismounted your blade.

Like I said, that hydraulics is a different beast :D

Looking forward to seeing your FEL working.
