We used to do custom corn shelling, and got this phone call one day!! The guy is as calm as can be, when he says that he THINKS he needs to shell corn, and would like to right away, so we grabbed the the old kb-6, because the the big R-205 sheller was on another job, and went to his crib!! Drove up, and GUESS what!!!! BINGO!!! thanks; sonny

Splicer,
Looks like his corn crib wall blew out because he overfilled the building with ear corn. Since the corn was still on the ear, I guess Sonny's customer figured now was a good time to shell it?

We cleaned all the mess up that day, and the wood wall IS still under the pile in the pic! Had to sort through the boards and corn, a few boards got in the sheller, but the ole Deere 6 ate them too!! would shell 1500 bushels per hour IF you could shovel that fast!! Usually had 5 helpers, had 6 that day!! none of us made any money on that job!thanks; sonny

Not a good situation! I saw that happen once! Took a bunch of guys 3 days to get it clean up! Not something I'd want to happen!
