Here is a scanned pic. of our old Massey-Harris self-propelled corn picker we used in the late 70's and 80's!! It was powered by a continintenal flathead 6 cyl., 73 hp. F-226 engine!! thanks; sonny

Dont know if the motor is any good anymore, as the cover got off the pipe and water got in! need to get rid of the whole thing!! It dosn't look like the pic at present !!thanks; sonny

IIRC the F 226 is the same engine as was used in the 44-6.

Hi!, partsman!! F-226 was used on MH 44-6 tractors, also dad had MM sp combines that had them. I've seen them on portable welders, air compressors, etc,as well. Was thinking a couple of other tractors used them, but can't remember for sure. thanks; sonny
