Dennis, First I want to thank you for all you have done and are trying to do for the forum. It's great to see your level of commitment. Personally, I apologize for not participating in your fund raising ideas. I have various reasons for not doing so. However, I did renew my sponsorship early. Sometimes, I see something like this thread and I figure I'll come back to it later but then forget about it. As far as the auctions, I'm a little strapped for cash now and I'm sure others are also. I really should have bid on the Newegg certificate because I've been waiting on a couple of items to go on sale there before I buy them but that thread got away from me too. I don't think you can really expect to have a lot of participation in auctions that are specific to this forum. With approx. 200 members visiting a day what number of those could you realistically expect to participate in an auction? There really are only a relatively few members who do the majority of the posting. I expect a lot of members are not really deeply involved and just come in and scan a few areas and then leave. A lot of them are probably like me: I can't tell you how many times I've written a long reply to something and then just backed out and deleted the whole thing. There are a lot of lurkers out there. I hope I don't offend or piss you off because we need active guys like you. I just don't want to see you get disgruntled because the level of participation isn't real high. Thanks again for all you've done and I'll try to be more active in the future. Hutch
