Ok, I bought this 2 years ago in attemps to clear off debree from driveways, decks, and other areas for much less the cost of a gas unit. This did just that. I really do think it blows 225MPH of airflow because that sucker will move almost anything you put in front of it. I used it to dry my brothers hair one day, and lets just say it only to 20 seconds lol.

The blower has a adjustment knob on it to allow you to select different speed settings. For instance, I did not have to use 225MPH all the time lol. It had more than enough power. At the full speed, its a little loud but still quiter than the gas units! I bought 200Feet worth of cord to use with it and never bouged down cause of power loss!

This unit has the ability to convert into a vacume to suck up leaves and has a impeller to mulch them up. Acording to the add, it has the ability to convert 16 bags worth of leaves to one. Its more like 5 bags to 1. Which is still good! The bad thing that you have to deal with is alot of cord to use it. And, if you suck up to many leaves at one time, the chute will get clogged.

Date Purchased: 09/2004
Price Paid: $80
Recommend: Yes

Sounds like a great deal for $80. How heavy is it?

Its actually 3 years old now... It feels like it weighs no more than 5 pounds! Unless you have the leaf bag attached with leaves in it then it weighs like 15 pounds. lol

UPDATE!!!

Here we are 4 years later since the day of the purchase of this Toro blower. :)

I have not used it at all this year but have put 3 years of use on it and I have to say that its the coolest and best electric blower that you can buy. The fact that a piece of electric powered equipment can last 4 years and still going strong is a major plus.

The vacuume function for multching leaves still works great, just don't try to multch wet leaves otherwise you will clog your shute. The blowing force is pretty much all that you would need for things like grass, dirt, sand. Big rocks won't move under the blowing force but thats ok, thats what your foot is for lol.

Its a great electric blower that has given me no issues to speak of and still works great with 200 feet of cord. Want the best electric blower you can buy? Get yourself a Toro!
