Recently I've been looking at the L35 to replace my JD 770. Ok, I admit, I may be opening a can of worms on this topic, but I'll ask anyway. Anyone own one or have information regarding this model? Since they don't make it anymore I will be looking at used models. Anything to specifically look for to tell if it has been abused (i.e. weak points)? The L39 they have now is just too big for what I want and I can't afford a new one anyway. I figure if I go with the L35 I can make due with my 5 ft. implements until I can afford to replace them. They will be a little narrow, but the BH spends a lot more time on the tractor than everything else combined. The extra lift capacity and height on the loader is a big plus too. It's not real efficient to load my truck with the 770. I wasn't really wanting to make a jump from 23 to 35 hp (ok, my checkbook doesn't), but I can't find a TLB in the 30 hp range. Most people who want a TLB want something larger. I guess this means I'll have to use the dump truck and no more pulling the tractor with my Ranger. :D
