i am still going to PT i should be done in a few weeks... i gotta say.. now its getting downright hard!!!
i dont mind the bike or the eliptical machine.. the weights are ok.. the leg lifts, and other various punishments.. although hard.. are good for me...
but its the Friggin wall sits... That are not fun...
i dont know if its just me, being a sloth or what... but those things kill me...
wall sit are just as it sounds... sit against the wall... knees at 90 degrees... sort of like crapping in the woods against a tree...
i started doing 15 seconds on then 15 seconds off...slowly worked up in time...
today, i did 90 seconds of a wall sit.. then rested 90 seconds.. and repeated 4 times...
give it a try.. it sounds easy.. but after 15,30,45... seconds... its not much fun.... :fing20:
i love therapy... today, it really killed me... (tired) man i am sore... but thats what it is supposed to do:congrats:

Man - that does sound tough! But what it also sounds like, is that you are well on your way to FULL recovery. :congrats: H@ll, I've got good knees, and I don't think I could do 90 sec. wall sits. :not_worth
Congrats SJ - sounds like yur almost there .... :trink40:

I've used that as a classroom management technique. A kid that wouldn't stay in their seat got to 'sit the wall' until their legs were burning. They were glad to sit down after.

So... do you get to drag yourself around on a wheeled stool, yet? That's the latest trick that my physical therapist has thrown into the bag... So far I'm only allowed to go forward, but... it starts to hurt!! The stairmaster was killing me!!! Like you, I don't really mind the leg lifts (with a 3# weight on my ankle, now) and the weight machines, even the bike is OK, but.... I sure am glad she took me off of that danged old stairmaster....

I tried it and I ended up crapping all over the floor.
