Check at the local Fire Company! They usually have catalogs from the major fire equipment sellers. Those magazines and catalogs have lots of things you can buy.
Our Fire co. gets them every month. And, i don't think you need to be a member to order from the catalog.

Here is a link to one I picked up at a local hardware store for $19.00. It's is a 12 volt unit I cut off the cig lighter end and put on alligator style battery clips and run directly off of battery on my plowtractor. Has magnetic bottom. I did notice the light would walk a little when the sheet metal on ttractor was wet, Almost had it slide off. This year I will make a post mounted off of rear hitch and attach light to post.

Rotating suck to much power. I have a couple small amber xenon strobes, even the 12vt car ones will run several hours on a 6vt lantern battery. I just wire mine to either the rear lights or a seperate switch on the dash that is wired to the battery. Ebay is a good source of cheap strobes. Federal Signal makes a nice small one called the Firebolt, I have one that is single flash that I am putting on my yanmar. Cheers Mike

Lowes has a LED one.It blinks or it's on steady.

4 AA batteries and 2 large magnets to fasten it where you'd like,$22.00.

I'll get pic's of mine.

I have a low profile, single flash amber xenon strobe light with a rubber bottom that would possibly work for you. It is quite bright and light weight. I am asking $20 plus shipping for it. I can email you a pic if interested. Mike

My neighbor buys and sells at the swap meet. A couple of weeks back he had 3 new ones in a box. I will ask him in the morning and let you know if he has any left. They were top quality.
