Thanks guys, it's to be here. I bought the lights at Advance auto parts for $19.99. They work great for what I use them for.

Lonestar,

Being in the Pacific Northwest, decks are a very popular, and the ones you build are beautiful. I really like the style below.

Look forward to seeing more posts, possibly a "project" series of one from start to finish?

Thanks for posting, and enjoy the MTF.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes guys, you know how to make a guy want to stay. As to the fog lights... I live in a valley and during the summer I enjoy being outside as long as my coyotes will allow. The OEM lights just aren't bright enough to mow at night. The fog lights allow close range lighting while the oems give a little distance.

We will travel to any state other than California to build our decks, and Thank ya'll so much for all the kind comments about our craft. i believe you are givin one gift when you are born and I believe my gift was being a carpenter. I'll keep the pics coming, I love taking them. If you all want to see where I get to work everyday check out

Nope, I have them wired into the existing lights and switch. Haven't had a problem thus far, although I only use them at night.

You know I do, they make some crazy, funnu tastin' mexican food here. Luckily there's an On The Border near me so I can get a little taste of Texas. On The Border is a Texas Based Tex Mex Eatery. White cheese on everything.
